New Blog Home

So the place where I used to blog was getting cumbersome to use, so I pretty much quit blogging. Probably no big deal really, but sometimes I miss it. So here I am.

It's funny how it seems like I'm always in between. We all are really, between life and death of course. Some people are just better about living in the now, enjoying each day as it arrives. Me, I'm the one counting the days until the next something big. Until last week, it was my birthday. Now I'm counting the days until my trip to San Francisco next month (20)...the days until J is done traveling for work(28)...the days til the lifts open for the season (probably somewhere between 79 & 86...depending on the weather an especially nice thought on days when the temps are in the 100's).

It's always fun to have something to look foward to, but I feel like I miss out on things happening now because I'm too busy looking forward. Time keeps moving, faster and faster it seems.
